Doug Meador Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Doug Meador plays a key role in directing financial and accounting programs for BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul. Mr. Meador was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in June 2005. Prior to this, he served as Vice President and General Manager of Operations at Dallas Airmotive’s Forest Park maintenance, repair and overhaul facility in Dallas, Texas.

Before joining ERO, Mr. Meador was Plant Manager at General Electric Engine Services in Dallas. While there, he had full P&L responsibility for the $200 million GE turbine engine overhaul subsidiary. Prior to being appointed Plant Manager, he served as the subsidiary’s Chief Financial Officer. He also has held leadership positions with GE Transportation Systems, a multi-location company, where he was Finance and Materials Manager in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and later served as Financial Controller at the company’s Jacksonville, Florida, location.

Mr. Meador served in the U.S. Army as a Finance Officer and completed a variety of assignments in the United States and overseas. He is a licensed CPA. He earned his Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, and received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas.
